Classes with Shannon are great. She tailors the asanas to what we
would like to work on. She's also very accommodating of different
abilities, giving easier and more difficult variations for most poses.
When she teaches us a new, more intermediate/advanced pose, she's very
good at "warming up" the part of our body the new pose works on.

Dan's classes are really quite good. He seems to really enjoy his
Yoga practice and that comes through in how he leads the class...and
explains all poses and alternate poses very well.
Over the last year of taking Yoga with your group...its been really
interesting to see the different techniques used by all of the
instructors. I really feel fortunate to have access to this class so
close to my office...and the benefits from Yoga have been huge for me.
Just learning to breath into a new variety of stretches...especially
before my weekly club soccer training sessions or a weekend game is
just one of the small benefits.

It has been about 8 months since I started the yoga classes with Vancouver
Corporate Yoga @ Metrotown and have noticed a remarkable change in my body &
life.
Essentially, I decided it was time to do something about the pain in my left hip
from (result of a roller blading injury from 5 years previous). I was
experiencing a lot of joint & muscle pain, headaches, backaches, etc. In
general, not a physically well person. As soon as I discovered that there would
be Yoga classes in our newly built gym, I signed up. What did I have to lose??
Well, I no longer have back pain, headaches, or joint stiffness – almost
got the kink out of my left hip (I'm sure I will see an end to that discomfort
soon too). I certainly have more energy now and my body has toned up
significantly leading me to lose a couple of dress sizes in the process. I've
received many comments on how much better I look now. And when you're in your
mid-Fifties, every little bit of help to look better and fit is a bonus to
living a fuller life.
If you offered classes everyday – I'd be one of the first to sign up!!!
Sunny, Thank You for offering us your Yoga services. I hope I speak for all the
other participants when I say, It's been Great and Please don't Stop!!!

Sandra is a fabulous instructor, “Warrior Yoga Series for Weightloss”. I’ve attended a few other yoga classes in the past, but never really got into it because I didn’t understand the moves and positions or breathing. I really appreciated the time Sandra took to explain things! Sometimes starting off slow is the best way to go, especially for some of us ‘non-yogis”. The class was really good. I’m looking forward to next Friday and I can’t wait to see the pounds melt away- LOL.

Today was the first session of the new class in the stuio with Alix. I wanted to
express to you how much I enjoyed the class. Yes many of the moves were familiar
from all the yoga classes I do, but she arranged them in a new routine and she
added a variety of new moves. I really felt that I received a great all over body
work out.
She was knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic which is always a plus. She provided
lots of variations when doing the various moves which was extremely helpful if an
individual found the regular position too difficult to do. She made you feel, that
even if you had to do the modified version, that you were doing great. I thought
she was wonderful.
All in all I loved it and will go back again.

I have to tell you that since my mastectomy last year, it's been a bit of a long

Kreg is a fantastic teacher. I always look forward to Thursdays because
of his class. He's very patient and I like the fact that the class is becoming more challenging. Ana is also great! Her technique compliments my training sessions elsewhere, helping me stretch hip flexors and hamstrings that often get missed.

I have been attending lunch time Yoga three times a week for
the last couple of months and I definitely feel a difference in my energy level as well as muscle flexibility. I really enjoy Sara and Dan as our instructors. Sara has been so pleasant to listen to and I enjoy the varied moves she teaches us. I especially enjoy the more challenging poses she introduced such as the side plank. Dan is amazing every class. I really enjoy the core strengthening poses he taught us and lately he introduced some breathing exercises as well. The differences in techniques with both these instructors really bring a good mix to theses classes. I hope to see these two instructors again in the next sessions.

As a graphic designer I
work in a high stress deadline driven industry. For the last few years I have
suffered back, neck, and shoulder problems as a result of working long hours in
front of the computer. I have not seen my chiropractor since I
started doing yoga with Sunny! Back problems are a distant memory! My stress
level has also decreased enormously.

Wow Sunny, I
can't begin to say how much I love
attending your classes; you and your
co-workers (Ariel and Tara) are great!
As a runner my legs were feeling
tight and I was concerned it would
affect my stride and cause injuries. But
I still skimped on my stretching and my
usual stretch routine was not very
comprehensive. Once I started with
Vancouver Corporate Yoga, I was hooked!
The fact that the classes are at my
workplace makes it easy for me to attend
and fit into my day (it's
"auto-scheduled" because of the lunch
hour class time) - and because I am at
the office, I have already arrived at
class (no commute to a gym!). As for the
workout, I am stretching places that I
didn't know existed! No more hamstring
woes for me - "pigeon" anyone?
Some unexpected bonuses though:
1. The classes are a wonderful break
in the day and the week. I look forward
to your classes as they not only work
out the body but refresh the mind
and mood.
2. Call me crazy but I think all that
spinal stretching has made me taller
because my jeans are noticeably shorter.
Sceptics may say that the dryer shrunk
my jeans and that may be so but then why
are they not tighter? Either way, I win!

Yoga for me
has been the complete work-out. For years, I would rush off to the gym to get
my work-out in, only to leave after an hour, not feeling very relaxed and often
rushed.
With yoga, I'm not only getting a great work-out in, I am refreshed as well as relaxed at the end
of it. Complete body and soul fitness. The increased flexibility has not hurt
my golf game either.

Having Sunny come to our workplace has made a world of
difference. I didn’t realize how little I stretched in my daily life and how
this led to cramping and stiffness in my neck and back, especially when I’m on
the computer. I am more in touch with my posture and breath, and try not to
hold my shoulders up when I am tense.
I’ve always wanted to try yoga but have
never gone out of my way to try it, and now I don’t have to! It is even nicer

Sunny’s classes are amazing and fun! I have never taken yoga before until
Corporate Yoga was offered to our building. I cannot believe what a difference

If you want a
really good ab workout, Hector is definitely the one to give that to you! Not
only do his classes help tone and firm all parts of your body, his

Here are my
thoughts on my experience of the yoga
classes at TD Tower so far. The
beneficial effects of the weekly yoga
classes (sense of well-being, feeling
relaxed, looking kindly and patiently
upon my fellow human beings) last for
3-4 days!
After the first couple of classes,
the muscles in my legs and arms were
already appreciable firmer and stronger.
I am finding myself drawn more often
to foods that are good for my body, and
I appreciate how my body feels when I
eat well.
Both Ariel and Brenda are excellent.
I feel terrific!

instructor – she’s very knowledgeable and is able to work with students at all
levels in the same class! I highly recommend her yoga classes to others – what

The benefits of training with Sunny and her staff,
for the past 1 1/2 year has been phenomenal.
I’ve been a personal trainer for 25
years. The improved stress reduction, flexibility and core strength, are
wonderful, but the restorative value of yoga to my injured hip has been
remarkable.
After an 80 ft fall, 25 years ago, which resulted in scoliosis of
the spine, I am seeing my spine finally realigning itself. I feel and look

Yoga has been a surprising experience for me. Not only have I had
chronic back problems due to 3 car accidents, but I have had stiffness in my ankles from previous injuries which has
been compounded by taking up running. Since starting yoga, my ankles are no longer stiff in the mornings
and I can feel a difference in my back and hips. I am happy to say that after years of monthly chiropractor appointments,
I can finally see that there will be an end! Last but not least, what a surprise it was for me to find
that not only is yoga
great for stretching, but it is also an excellent toning workout that leaves me flushed and feeling every muscle in my
body. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience.

I used to be an amateur athlete, competing for the Olympics in Gymnastics. I was very
fit and flexible. However, life and age caught up to me and I was growing out of my clothes.
Simply climbing up a flight of stairs was
getting to be a chore. However, after 6 weeks of one
hour a day, twice weekly sessions with
Hillary and Craig of Sunny Trim's Vancouver Corporate
Yoga, I was a new woman. I am getting control of my weight gain, stretching unused muscles
(gently, of course) and feeling better about myself all over. I truly enjoyed the classes,
